Coffee Break | Bella Goose Coffee (Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin)

If you live in Minnesota, like us, Wisconsin Dells is a great getaway for the weekend. But my husband nor I have ever gone to the Dells before. (Say what?!) And while we're at it, I've also never been to Duluth before either. I've been told its the "San Francisco of Minnesota" (Ha, right!). I've realized I need to get out more often!

Mother's Day weekend, which is also my husband's birthday, I decided to reserve a room in the Dells for the weekend. The big outdoor waterparks are not open until Memorial weekend, but with the kids, it didn't matter anyways so I made sure to find a hotel with a kid's indoor waterpark. All in all, we had a great weekend away, especially my 4-year-old!

You know I'm always on the snoop for a good cup of coffee. I made a stop at Bella Goose Coffee on Monday before coming home. Prior to, I did some research and the story behind this coffeehouse definitely got me excited! Bella Goose means "Beautiful Lead." The co-founder of Bella Goose wanted to create a community which was inspired by his [donkey-back ride] trip to the mountains of Costa Rica where there were coffee huts along the path, a creation of community in which people felt belonging.

The setting was simple and classic. I ordered a Lavender Mint Latte from their trademark list with almond milk substitute. The coffee flavor was definitely strong making the lavender more subtle and the mint kicked in the aftertaste--it was definitely different, but I liked it! I think the flavors worked really well together, especially that mint though!

I also ordered a biscuit with their seasonal spread, chives and butter and it was absolutely amazing! The biscuit was warm and soft. When I opened the biscuit, it was a tad bit doughy on the inside still, but definitely one of the best biscuits I've eaten! I also shared it with Jayden because the boy loves bread.

Fresh ground coffee and fresh baked goods--I would stop here again if ever in Wisconsin Dells again this summer.

I loved how this woven tassel clutch added pops of colors and texture to my outfit! This is from Justfab
