Eva NYC | Clean It Up Shampoo and Therapy Hair Mask Conditioner

My hair is one of my least favorite features. When I was young, I remember having beautiful, long waist-length hair. As I aged, my hair has thickened and become frizzy that keeping it long is not an option for me anymore. There are a lot of high-end shampoos that are created specifically for this hair type, however they aren't alway cheap and sometimes, they don't always work.

I wash my hair every 3-4 days. When it comes to shampoo and conditioner, I try to find affordable yet effective products. I look for shampoos that contain argan oil because it locks in moisture and keeps out humidity (definitely not a friend of frizz). I have some favorites but I am always open to trying new products because there may just be another that works better!

Influenster sent me the Eva NYC Clean It Up Shampoo and Therapy Session Hair Mask Conditioner to test and review. Right away, I noticed that the shampoo contains argan oil and Keravis protein. (Yay!)
The shampoo and hair mask (conditioner), both have a musk fragrance when you sniff from the bottle and when you apply it to the hair. Once I'm out of the shower and my hair has been towel dried, it's left with more of a light coconut scent.

Sadly, my hair isn't like those lucky enough to just let air dry and its good to go. My normal routine when I wash and condition, includes blow dry, flat iron and leave in conditioner or oil to tame the frizz. For the purpose of this review, I only washed, conditioned, and blow dried.

I have to say, I'm really impressed with these products! Once I blow dried my hair, it felt smooth and healthy. Although it did not take away frizziness, it definitely tamed it down quite a bit. It's not my perfect-to-go look, however its very close! I feel like I can totally skip a few steps in my normal hair routine if I really wanted to. I'm just really amazed at how well this product works on my hair even though it's for "All Hair Types" versus other more expensive hair products I've used in the past that is actually targeted for such hair type. I totally recommend these products, because I am going to be purchasing the full size bottles myself!

*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Opinions are strictly my own.
